PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker shaft arrangement structure of an engine for arranging a rocker shaft close to the axis of the cylinder, and reducing the valve holding angle while avoiding any interference with a plug pipe. SOLUTION: Rocker shafts 50 and 51 are arranged so as to partly overlap a plug pipe 25 when viewed in the axial direction thereof, and relief recessed parts 50a and 51a are formed on plug pipe overlapping parts of the rocker shafts 50 and 51.
