PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display device 30 freely attachable and detachable to/from a camera 1 and to control the camera 1 by following the instruction from the display device 30. SOLUTION: A storage recess 4 to store the display device 30 is formed on the rear face of the camera 1. When the display device 30 is stored in the storage recess 4, a connection terminal of the camera 1 and the connection terminal of the display device 30 are electrically connected, and the instruction from the display device 30 is transmitted to the camera 1. Also, image data outputted from the camera 1 is transmitted to the display device 30, and an image is displayed on a display screen of the display device 30. When the display device 30 is detached from the storage recess 4, the display device 30 and the camera 1 are made communicable with each other by a sensor 6. The instruction from the display device 30 can be transmitted to the camera 1 even in a state that the display device 30 is stored in the camera 1 or detached from it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
