PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile weave tile carpet having the characteristics of a wilton carpet comprising the expression of colorful and exquisite pattern, resistant to the fraying of fiber threads from the cut circumferential edge and suitable as a carpet for building work similar to a tufted tile carpet. SOLUTION: The pile weave tile carpet is produced by laminating a backing layer 20 to a multiple yarn pile composed of three or more yarns and produced by using a ground warp, at least two fastening warps 12A, 12B and a plurality of pile warps 13,14 as the unit warp and at least 3 wefts 15, 16, 17, 18 as the unit weft. The wefts constituting the unit weft are separated to the upper part and the lower part with the sunk yarn of the pile warp 14 and the ground warp 11 to form an upper layer 21 between the pile layer and the sunk yarn, an intermediate layer 22 between the sunk yarn and the ground warp 11 and a lower layer 23 under the ground warp. The weft 16 and the ground warp in the lower layer is divided with the weft 15 of the intermediate layer to separate the lower layer yarns from the sunk yarn keeping the yarn from direct contact with the sunk yarn.
