PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one current detector to be sufficient as an overcurrent protective unit in a facility for interlocking a non-utility generator to a commercial power supply system via two static inverters. SOLUTION: An inverter 3 rectifies an output of the generator 2 during system interlocking. An inverter 4 converts into AC power matched to a system power supply, and rectifies a system power at the generator starting time, and the inverter 3 drives the generator at a variable speed drive as a motor. An overcurrent protective unit includes one current detector 7 provided at an i/o terminal of the inverter 4, an overcurrent protector of the inverter 4 during the system interlocking from a detected current of the current detector, and an overcurent protective circuit 8 for protecting the inverter 3 against the overcurrent at the generator starting time. When an inverter for an auxiliary power source is provided, a constitution for simultaneously detecting its output by the current detector 7 is included. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
