PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a recording head to record information on a recording medium correctly by changing the amplitude and the timing of an overshoot current to be applied according to each recording current pulse. SOLUTION: This circuit is a circuit for generating recording currents so as to perform information recording to a magnetic medium and the circuit has an AC current generating circuit, the generation circuit of the overshoot current and a processor. The processor analyzes recording data and transmits information to the overshoot current generator and the overshoot current generator generates overshoot currents based on the information.
