PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items constituting a pump for cost cutting and miniaturization, to prevent the backflow of the pump and a fall of an impeller, and to improve a pump efficiency. SOLUTION: The pump is provided with an impeller 22 in a rotary shaft 23 projecting downward under a motor 21 and a water receiving chamber 51 receiving the water from an outlet 13 at the lower end of a suction pipe 12. The water receiving chamber 51 has water passages 61, 62 for dropping the water from the outlet 13 into a pump chamber 52 in which the impeller 22 rotates, and the water discharged from the pump chamber 52 by the impeller 22 is delivered to an outlet port 31.
