PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately simulate a contact condition between ice and rubber material. SOLUTION: This contact simulation method for rubber material and ice includes a step 1 of setting a rubber material model modeled by using a plurality of elements which capable of numerical analysis of the rubber material; a step 2 for setting ice model modeled by using a plurality of elements which capable of numerical analysis of the ice; simulation steps S4 to S8 of performing each deformation calculation and acquiring required physical quantity by bringing the rubber material model and the ice model into contact with each other under a predetermined boundary condition. The deformation calculation of the ice model includes processing for judging the presence of breakage in each element and processing of expressing the breakage by clearing various elements if the element is judged to have the breakage.
