PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable leaf tobacco packed in a leaf tobacco-hanging tool to be formed into a state in which the leaf tobacco is hung in a drying chamber by one person, and to enable the leaf tobacco-hanging tool packed with the leaves to be easily sent on a guide rail installed in a stock platform or a hanging device by slightly pushing the leaf tobacco-hanging tool. SOLUTION: A worktable for packaging leaves of the leaf tobacco has a worktable body comprising a table 31 for carrying out leaf-packaging operation by carrying the leaf tobacco-hanging tool B, a contact plate 32 with which stalks contact, a leaf-receiving frame 33 for supporting the leaf parts, and an endless belt 5 for conveying the leaf tobacco-hanging tool while carrying both right and left end parts thereof. The worktable is constituted so that the leaf-receiving frame may be supported so as to be laid at about 90°from the horizontal state by a damper structure 36, and the right and left end parts of the leaf tobacco-hanging tool may be delivered onto the endless belt 5 for conveyance by laying the leaf-receiving frame from the horizontal state by about 90°angle to rotatably move the leaf tobacco packed in the leaf tobacco-hanging tool so as to form a state in which the stalks are directed upward and tips of the leaves are directed downward.
