PURPOSE: A method is provided to achieve improved vertical resolution of screen by repeatedly outputting even numbered field images and odd numbered field images in accordance with an interlace system. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of creating even numbered field images(1e,2e,3e,4e) and odd numbered field images(1o,2o,3o,4o) by contracting the field images being reproduced for each channel; a step of storing the even numbered field images and the odd numbered field images for creating split screens into designated areas of a memory(220); and a step of alternately outputting the split screens created by the even numbered field images and the odd numbered field images.
