<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail which is easily and safely held by the arm of an aged or a physically chellenging person training in walking. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail comprises: a handrail part extending in a bar shape; and a support part for attaching the handrail part to a prescribed position. The handrail part includes: a plurality of bar shape members; and at least two spacers for allowing the bar shape members to be mutually separated in arrangement. The mutual interval between the bar shape members separated by the spacers is selected, so that at least fingers can be inserted to the inner part of the handrail part from an upper part, and an unclenched hand can be inserted to the inner part from the lower part of the handrail part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
