<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording, hardly causing bleeding of an image under a high-humidity condition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for the inkjet is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a dye represented by general formula (1) (wherein, A is a 5-membered heterocyclic group; B<SP>1</SP>and B<SP>2</SP>are each =CR<SP>1</SP>- or -CR<SP>2</SP>=, or one of them is a nitrogen atom and the other is =CR<SP>1</SP>- or -CR<SP>2</SP>=; R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group or the like; G, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, a cyano group or the like; at least one of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>, A and G has an anionic group) in at least one kind of an aqueous medium.
