PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable light-shielding hood for attaching a monitor of a digital camera or the like in which opening/closing operations can be simply performed. SOLUTION: The foldable light-shielding hood has an approximately rectangular mounting frame 11 which comprises four sides, a frame 20 mounted freely attachably/detachably to/from the mounting frame 11, an upper light-shielding cover 30 freely rotatably and pivotally fitted around the upper side 22 of the frame 20, and right and left light-shielding covers 60, 70 freely rotatably and pivotally fitted respectively around right and left sides 31,32 of the upper light-shielding cover 30 and inwardly stored and held in the upper light-shielding cover 30.
