PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film roll for winding a white heat shrinkable polystyrene resin film suitable as a packaging material used for covering, bundling, wrapping and the like for containers. SOLUTION: For the film roll provided by winding the whole heat shrinkable polystyrene resin film, a length change rate after processing wherein a tension of 51.18gf is loaded for 1 min at 110°C in a main shrinking direction to a length before the processing of the white heat shrinkable polystyrene resin film is≥0% and≤90%. All change rate to an average value of a heat shrinking rate at each measuring position in the whole roll of a heat shrinking rate given by a length change rate after processing of dipping for 10 s in water at 85°C to before the processing in main shrinkage direction to the average value are within±5% and an light transmittance is≤50%.
