PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared cache server that are sharable and usable among a plurality of groups in common networks wherein the plurality of groups are virtually separated. SOLUTION: A storage device 120 stores contents into a plurality of storage areas that respectively correspond to the plurality of groups. Virtual interfaces (VIF)1 (150) and VIF2 (160) are provided corresponding to the plurality of virtual networks. When an address conversion function 131 receives a packet requesting contents from a client through the VIF1 (150), the address conversion function 131 converts a portion of an IP address in the packet into an internal address that corresponds to the VIF (150). A cache function 110 reads the contents of a corresponding group from the storage areas of the storage device 120 on the basis of the internal address converted by the address conversion function 131.
