PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational amplifier circuit having a push-pull output circuit at its output stage that enhances switching distortion and reduces a through-current caused at switching. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier circuit is constituted to enhance switching distortion by placing diodes 14, 15 between bases of transistors 21, 22 constituting the output circuit, and causes a first base current control circuit 3 to supply a base current to the transistor 22 or causes a second base current control circuit 4 to draw a base current from the transistor 21 at switching to reduce a switching time of the transistor 22 or 21 thereby reducing a through-current flowing through the transistor 21 or 22.
