PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow working in a factory and in an office without lighting electric lamps in the daytime by bringing a dim room in a building into a bright room at low facility cost and with absolutely no operation cost and to achieve reduction in electric power consumption amount and reduction in environmental destruction. SOLUTION: As an example in a north side room, a flat reflecting plate with a tilt angle of 45°is placed on an outside of a window 4, and if skylight from just above is reflected to let into the north side room, an inside of the north side room is brightened as if a rooflight window were provided. The north side room is brightened by about the same as when the rooflight window with a half area of a reflecting plate area is provided. It is possible for a room blessed with slight sunlight to catch the moving sunlight by a cylindrical or a spherical reflecting plate, to increase sunshine hours, and to brighten the room for long hours. If two pieces of the reflecting plates are in use, it is possible even for the north side room to be brightened by the sunlight in the daytime. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
