摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize amount of acid and alkali to be added for removing carbon dioxide derived from total carbonic acid when suppressing corrosion of a boiler device. SOLUTION: This boiler device 1 is provided with a boiler 2 for heating feed water to generate steam, a water feed part 3 for feeding the feed water to the boiler 2, a steam supply part 5 for supplying steam generated by the boiler 2 to a load apparatus 4 and a condensate supply part 6 for making the steam used in the load apparatus 4 into condensate to be supplied to the water feed part 3. This method is a method for suppressing corrosion in the condensate supply part 6 in the device 1. The method includes a measurement process for measuring total carbonic acid concentration on an upstream side of a deaeration means 7 provided on the water feed part 3, an acid supply process for supplying acid to the upstream side of the deaeration means 7 based on the measurement result in the measurement process, and an alkali supply process for supplying alkali to a downstream side of the deaeration means 7 based on the measurement result in the measurement process.
