PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the feeding up/down of a stick type cosmetic and opening/closing of a cap by one action in a stick type cosmetic container where the stick type cosmetic is fed in/out by sliding an operation button. SOLUTION: The container has a storage hole with a sleeve mounted inside in which a holder cylinder to set and hold the stick type cosmetic is stored, and the cap for closing an opening at the top is hinged to be freely opened/closed. The holder cylinder is directly driven by the outside operation button, and the sleeve is slid to project from a container body, and after that, the stick type cosmetic is fed out. In the structure, a connection piece for connecting the holder cylinder and the operation button is formed in the board-shape curving like a crank, and a slide member is mounted inside along the axial line of the storage hole in such a way as slidable upward/downward. The top of the slide member is hinged with the axial center of a hinge piece of the cap being slightly shifted toward the storage hole, and the slide member is slid by the upward/downward sliding of the sleeve so that the cap is opened/closed.
