PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary thin paper roll holder from which a sanitary thin paper roll held in the holder will not be detached. SOLUTION: A pair of arms 1a and 1b are rotatably attached to an arm support member 2. Each of the arms 1a and 1b has a base 3, a roll support part 4 and a roll guide (guide) 5. The base 3 is circular cap-shaped, and is rotatably set in the arm support member 2. The roll support part 4 is scoop-shaped, extending from a position eccentric to the center of rotation of the base 3, and the roll guide 5 is disposed around the head of the roll support part 4. A rib part 4a, with two ribs projecting in the crescent shape and orthogonally crossing each other at the tops of the arcs, is disposed on either side of the head of the roll support part 4.
