PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article with which the characters of pulp and a high absorbent polymer are respectively exhibited without changing the amounts of pulp and the high absorbent polymer in an absorptive body, and also absorptive speed and absorptive performance are sufficiently secured. SOLUTION: The absorptive article includes: a liquid permeable top sheet 1; a liquid impermeable back sheet 2; and the absorptive body 3 held between the both sheets. The absorptive body 3 comprises: a first absorptive layer 3a positioned at the side of the top sheet 1, consisting of the aggregation body of hydrophilic fibers or chemical fibers; and a second absorptive layer 3b positioned at the side of the back sheet 2, consisting of the high absorbent polymer P held between the hydrophilic fibers or the chemical fibers F. Thus, a body fluid is absorbed into the second absorptive layer 3b via the first absorptive layer 3a with high absorptive rate and held, so that the body fluid is absorbed in a sufficiently spread state.
