摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air feeding and suction operating mechanism for an endoscope which is excellent in operability since air feeding and suction can be controlled without separating a hand from an inserion part and which hardly becomes unobservable because of sucking an object to be observed during suction. SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises the insertion part to be inserted to the inside of the object to be observed and a grip part for gripping operation, and which performs suction and air feeding via an opening for suction and an opening for air feeding provided at the distal end of the insertion part by means of an external suction source and an air feeding source. In the endoscope, the grip part is provided with an operation member for both of air feed and suction which performs both of switching of communicating and cutting off between the suction source and the opening for suction and switching of communicating and cutting off between the air feeding source and the opening for air feeding.
