PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan type apparatus for diffusing a chemical changing the diffusion direction and diffusion position of the chemical. SOLUTION: The fan type apparatus for diffusing the chemical is obtained by forming an opening 34 for movement in a circular arclike upper plate 12a in a body part 10 of the apparatus body 1 and freely rotatably installing a gas stream releasing guide 33 on the outer periphery of a fan 31 of a blower 3 provided in the interior of a chamber 10a for housing the blower 3 of the body part 10. Releasing ports 4 formed in the gas stream releasing guide 33 are freely movable along the opening 34 for movement. The releasing ports 4 are moved by rotating the gas stream releasing guide 33 and the chemical in a chemical holding body 2 is diffused from the releasing ports 4 into air. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
