The invention relates to a method and a device for the moulding of a crystallisable material, in particular a light metallic material or a polymer material, in the liquid or pasty state, which is left to solidify after the moulding and resultant shaping, whereby the material is made to vibrate, at least in partial regions thereof, before and/or during the moulding and/or the solidification. Where necessary the material is also inoculated with crystallisation seeds, at least in partial regions thereof, during the moulding and/or solidification. A device used for the above comprises a heating element (1, 2), for heating crystallisable material, a moulding unit (5, 6) which defines a moulding cavity (7), a charging unit (3, 4), by means of which the material is pressed into the moulding unit (5, 6) under pressure and a dosing unit (8, 9, 10, 19), for the dosed introduction of the material in the liquid or pasty state from the heater unit (1, 2) into a casting unit (3, 4), whereby the device is provided with at least one unit (S1 - S11) for the generation of mechanical vibrations, at least in partial regions thereof. |
