<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid fuel direct feeding fuel cell that can contribute to the improvement of output characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid fuel direct feeding fuel cell, a negative electrode and a positive electrode are provided opposed to each other through an electrolyte made of a proton conductive solid polymer, and power is generated by supplying liquid fuel to the negative electrode and supplying an oxidant gas to the positive electrode.
