<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can prevent a developer from cohering, fusing, and sticking and so on by discharging a developer in a developer storage tank to the outside when previously set image formation half time is reached. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device which develops an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier by supplying a developer by a developer carrier, transfers the developed image and then fixes it, and removes a remaining developer on the image carrier by a cleaning device is provided with a developer carrying means of carrying the developer removed by the cleaning device and temporary stored in the cleaning device to the outside and further provided with a control means of performing control so that when the previously set image formation halt time is reached, the temporarily stored developer is carried to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
