<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply monitoring device for constantly displaying the residual amount of a battery by suppressing the power consumption of a battery for a backup power supply to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply monitoring device comprises a main power supply 1 that supplies power to a power demand side at a normal time, and the battery 2 for the backup power supply that supplies power at an abnormal time when power is not substantially supplied by the main power supply 1.
