<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-bulky body-side hanging type cellular phone holder to be attached to a skirt or trousers etc. without using a waistband easily and detachably, capable of preventing a cellular phone from accidentally slipping down in changing clothes, and capable of storing other portable articles inside, and a method of preventing the slipping-down. <P>SOLUTION: A holder ring 2 constricted at the root is attached to the front surface of a relatively hard face plate such as a leather or synthetic resin face place bent in the U-shape, and a detachable weight plate 3 is attached to the rear surface. The bent part is hooked to the body edge of a skirt or trousers so that the holder can be used both on the front and rear side of the clothes. In addition, a built-in strap 3 is attached to the holder, and the strap is fixed to the inner side of the clothes with a fastener such as a clip pin 4 or a detachable adhesive tape. The built-in strap may be, in a case, replaced with a body winding strap.
