<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and light-weight connection part for optical drop cables with less restrictions of an installation place, and to provide a connection method. <P>SOLUTION: At the connection part 1 of the optical drop cables for connecting the terminals of the optical drop cables 71 having optical fibers 72 and support wires 75 with each other, the terminals of the optical fibers 72 respectively exposed from the terminals of both optical drop cables 71 are directly connected with each other and the terminals of the support wires 75 of both optical drop cables 71 are linearly connected with each other so as to generate slack at the terminals of the directly connected respective optical fibers 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
