<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which enables a form to easily and speedily be removed without being torn when the form jams either in a return path or over the return path and an inversion re-conveyance path. <P>SOLUTION: A polarized light converting element is equipped with a paper feed cassette 200, an image forming conveyance path 20, a paper feed conveyance path 22, a reverse conveyance path 24, the return path 26, and the inversion re-conveyance path 28. A bottom wall 50 is arranged in a cassette storage space S, and the inversion re-conveyance path 28 is arranged in the paper feed cassette 200, which is loaded in the storage space S so that it can be drawn out in a paper feed direction. Once the paper feed cassette 200 is loaded, a horizontal area 26c of the return path 26 is formed between the reverse surface of a bottom wall 202 of the paper feed cassette 200 and the top surface of a bottom wall 50 of the storage space S and when the paper feed cassette 200 is drawn out, the horizontal area 26c of the return path 26 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
