METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AMENITY CALCULATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for amenity calculation by which it is accurately discriminated whether a subject is relaxed and feels comfortable.

SOLUTION: An apparatus for calculating the amenity of the subject based on a cardiac cycle of the subject detected by a cardiac cycle detection means 121 is provided with at least the following means: an average cardiac cycle calculation means 122 for obtaining an average cardiac cycle by each evaluation object unit time from the cardiac cycle; a heart rate change rate calculation means 123 for obtaining a heart rate change rate by each evaluation object unit time from the cardiac cycle; and a heart rate fluctuation rate calculation means 124 for obtaining a heart rate fluctuation rate by each evaluation object unit time from the cardiac cycle. Based on the calculated values, an amenity calculation means 125 calculates the amenity of the subject.
