PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production management system capable of changing plans on which a customer's order is reflected right before a short-period production schedule is determined.

SOLUTION: Products in at least two groups including a plurality of products in a first group which can be replaced with a relatively small schedule number and at least one kind of product in a second group which require a relative large schedule number to be replaced with products in the first group are produced in the same production line. The production management system compares a table of a short-period production schedule and a order backlog table with each other right before a determination day at which the short-period production schedule should be determined because of the relation with the number of processing days needed to prepare production and evaluates whether products of market production are allowed to be replaced with unallotted products in response to a state wherein there are the products of market production and unallotted products in a different group in the short-period production schedule table.
