KEY WITH DISPLAY FUNCTION, DISPLAY METHOD, AND DISPLAY PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key with a display function enabling the user to understand information about an object even if he or she is away from the object by solving the following problems: that a person owning only a mechanical key cannot find out whether a car or house is locked or unlocked; that a person owning a plurality of keys has difficulty identifying at a glance the key matching the object; that a person using a toll parking lot has trouble roughly estimating parking hours by jotting down the time of leaving a car; that even a person using an on-vehicle GPS has to jot down information on the map of neighboring areas when leaving the car.

SOLUTION: The key has a display means for displaying images and a reception means for receiving information from the object requiring the key. The information related to the object is received from the object and displayed.
