<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dot image exposing system in which reduction in the scale of a driver circuit and circuit operation by a low speed D/A converter are realized. <P>SOLUTION: Prior to exposure, m levels are selected from an image gray scale signal of n levels and held in m D/A converters 12. When exposure is performed, one of m levels held in the m D/A converters 12 is switched by a select circuit 20 depending on a select signal based on an output image and delivered to an LED drive circuit 30 where driving of an LED 40 is controlled according to the inputted m level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
