<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intravascular indwelling type stent hardly causing restinosis. <P>SOLUTION: Stereoscopic micropatterns with 0.02-20μm of repeated pitch are formed at least on the surface of the inside wall of this stent. The stent with the stereoscopically micropatternized surface is used to significantly accelerate migration, fixation, and growth of intravascular endotherial cells on the inside surface of the stent after angioplasty.
