PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove ghosts when successively selecting and displaying for every block obtained by collecting a plurality of data lines. SOLUTION: Image data Da are delayed by a delay unit U1 and the delayed data are outputted as image data Db. The delay time of each delay unit U1 corresponds to the unit time of phase expanded image signals VID1 to VID6. When a 1st differential circuit 31 generates 1st differential image data Ds1 by subtracting image data Db from image data Da, a 1st coefficient circuit 32 multiplies the 1st differential image data Ds1 by a 1st coefficient K1 to generate 1st correction data Dh1.
