PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing such a lenticular lens sheet that more effectively absorbs external light to improve contrast by arranging a layer made of a light absorbing material on at least a part of the side faces of projecting parts of a lenticular lens sheet substrate. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the lenticular lens sheet, print rolls 51 and 52 coated with an unhardened light-absorbing material are rotated, and a lenticular lens sheet substrate 10 is moved relatively to the print rolls 51 and 52 while bringing the print rolls 51 and 52 into contact with top parts of projecting parts 4 of the lenticular lens sheet, and thus the unhardened light-absorbing material 8 is transferred to projecting parts 4. Revolving shafts of the print rolls 51 and 52 are arranged obliquely to the lengthwise direction of the lenticular lens. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
