PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the pull-out force of a coated optical fiber or the like housed in a slot groove part without causing deterioration in terms of the transmission loss of the optical fiber. SOLUTION: A plurality of sine functions are applied to one pitch of the SZ type slot groove. For example, length in a slot axis direction from an optional starting point to a phaseπin the slot groove is made different from a distance in the slot axis direction from the phaseπto a phase 2π. For example, if it is assumed that length from the optional starting point to a position obtained by advancing the phase by 2πis one pitch in figure 1 showing the shape of the slot groove when the surface of the slot is cut in the axial direction and developed, the length from the starting point S1 (aligned with a reversing part from S twist to Z twist) to the position S2 of the phaseπis 235mm and the distance in the slot axis direction from the position S2 to the position S3 of the phase 2πwith respect to the point S1 is 265mm.
