PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the junction section between a connecting tube 21 in a steam heating tube type dryer and the edge of the heating tube 18 and a header tube 20. SOLUTION: The heating tube 18 where steam is supplied inside is extended and arranged toward the direction of a center axis O in a dryer body 11, and the header tube 20 connected to the edge section of the heating tube 18 via a connecting tube 21 is arranged at the outer periphery of the edge section of the dryer body 11. A bent section 21A is provided, where the bent section 21A is extended to the outer periphery side of the dryer body 11 from the position of the header tube 20 and then is bent for extending to an inner periphery side for flexibility and deformation.
