PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cornice prevention device whose manufacturing cost can be reduced, being manufactured and constructed even in a large-size easily, and being easily handled in construction and transportation and having excellent mounting strength. SOLUTION: This cornice prevention device 1 is composed of a vertical plate 31 having substantially triangular longitudinal cross section and provided on an outer side of a building, a bottom plate 29, and an inclined plate 33 provided on an inner side of the building. A locking part 31c protruding toward the inner side of the building is provided at a lower end of the vertical plate 31. One end 9a of a bolt 9 is engaged with a holder 3, and the other end of the bolt 9 is inserted into the bottom plate 29 and the locking part 31c of the vertical plate and is fixed by a nut 11. An upper end of the inclined plate 33 is fixed to an upper end of the vertical plate 31, and a lower end of the inclined plate 33 is fixed to the bottom plate 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
