<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display and a display system aiming at further power saving, using a reflection type liquid crystal having memory property with visible display at all times and having excellent visibility even in the outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: This display 10 is equipped with liquid crystal elements 100 constituting a display screen by using the reflection type liquid crystal having memory property. The display 10 is used as a sub-display of a personal computer 1. The liquid crystal display elements 100 stop power supply after turning on the screen, and an image is kept visible thereafter using the memory property and reflection characteristic of the liquid crystal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
