SKIN CARE PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use having a high moisturizing effect and synergistically increased in improving effect on aging symptom of the skin such as crease and improving effect on chapped skin.

SOLUTION: The skin care preparation for external use comprises both of the glycogen and the hydrolyzed product of a rice extract. As a result, an excellent moisturizing effect is obtained and synergistic improving effect on aging symptom of the skin such as crease and the improving effect on chapped skin are obtained. An extract of hard-shelled mussel is preferably used as the glycogen. A hydrolyzate obtained by treating an alkaline medium extract of rice with two or more kinds of proteinases is preferably used as the hydrolyzed product of the rice extract.
