PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for carrying glass boards, the body of which is of an assembly type so that the box can easily cope with the change of the size of the glass boards. SOLUTION: The body of the box comprises two bottomed U-shaped body members 5, 6, and bottomed intermediate body members 7, 8, 9 which are arranged to joint with the body members 5, 6 between them. Each body member 5, 6 has an end wall 10 on which a groove 4 for bearing the glass boards is formed. The intermediate body members 7, 8, 9 (intermediate side walls 7, 8 and bottom wall 9) have respective joints 20 and 21, 28 and 29, 31 and 32, on both ends of each body member, and the body members 5, 6 have joints 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, which are jointed with the corresponding joints of the intermediate body members in a removable manner. By changing the latitudinal length of the intermediate body members, for example, the box becomes available for larger glass boards. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
