PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive device which includes no processing stand-by time such as a printing halt between print patterns, enhances the users' usability and can perform a high grade printing. SOLUTION: A CPU (central processing unit) 21 starts a timer 21A at the time of a printing processing start (S1). Then, a timer processing interrupt is executed for every predetermined time (S11-S16), and a heat storage coefficient (d) is set and memorized in a RAM 27. On the other hand, after starting the timer 21A (S1), the CPU 21 reads out the heat storage coefficient (d) from the RAM 27 and sets an electrified time by multiplying an applicator pulse width of each heating element R1-Rn by the heat storage coefficient (d). Printing of one line is carried out (S2-S3). After a printing dot number for one line is added to a count of a dot number counter 27D, if print data remains in a printing buffer 27B (S5:NO), processing after S2 is carried out again for every line one by one, and printing processing is ended (S5:YES).
