PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new safety skin care preparation for external use or a bathing agent to prevent skin troubles of people suffering from the skin troubles such as hemochromatosis like a spot or a freckle, especially those with sensitive skin who sometimes worsens the symptoms by psychological stress, and to condition the skin texture and keep the skin healthy. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation for external use or the bathing agent comprises hydroxytyrosol (3, 4-dihydroxyphenylethanol) as an active ingredient for melanin generation-suppressing agent or an active ingredient for lipoperoxide generation-suppressing agent.
