FIRST AGENT FOR CORRECTING CURLY HAIR AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING TREATMENT OF CURLY HAIR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a first agent for correcting curly hair scarcely causing damage to the hair by curly hair-correcting treatment and capable of imparting moist feeling and softness to the hair after curly hair-correcting treatment. SOLUTION: The first agent for correcting the curly hair comprises gluconic acid and trehalose in addition to a reducing agent and an alkali agent. The gluconic acid content is preferably 0.05-5 wt.% and the trehalose content is preferably 0.05-5 wt.%. Monoethanol or ammonia water is preferably used as the alkali agent. The first agent for correcting the curly hair is suitable for carrying out correcting treatment of the curly hair by using an iron for high-temperature hair fixing having 100-180°C surface temperature.
