PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fluorine-containing fluorosulfonylalkyl vinyl ether in a high yield by an industrially advantageous method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a fluorosulfonylalkyl vinyl ether represented by the general formula: CF<SB>2</SB>=CFO(CF<SB>2</SB>CF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O)<SB>n</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>F (wherein n is an integer of 1-10) comprises preparing a thiosulfonic acid thiocarboxylic acid compound represented by the general formula: R<SP>1</SP>SCOCF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O(CF<SB>2</SB>CF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O)<SB>n</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>SR<SP>2</SP>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; and n is the same as above) from an acid fluoride derivative represented by the general formula: FCOCF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O(CF<SB>2</SB>CF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O)<SB>n</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>F (wherein n is the same as above), subsequently subjecting the resultant acid compound to a dethiocarbonylation reaction to give a vinyl ether compound represented by the general formula: CF<SB>2</SB>=CFO(CF<SB>2</SB>CF(CF<SB>3</SB>)O)<SB>n</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>SR<SP>2</SP>(wherein R<SP>2</SP>and n are each the same as above), and chlorinating and then fluorinating the vinyl ether compound.
