PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an exterior wall dismantling method that can easily recover an exterior wall surface material in a reusable or recyclable state and reduce time and cost in dismantling an exterior wall. SOLUTION: The exterior wall is provided with the exterior wall surface material 1; a lath 3 disposed on the surface side; a washer 4 for pressing the lath 3 to the surface side of the exterior wall surface material 1; a nail 5 driven into the exterior wall surface material 1 through the washer 4 so that the tip part 5b projects to the back face side of the exterior wall surface material 1; and mortar 8 applied to the surface side of the exterior wall surface material 1 with the lath as backing. In the method of dismantling the exterior wall, the tip part 5b of the nail 5 projecting to the back face side of the exterior wall surface material 1 is pushed out toward the surface side from the back face side of the exterior wall surface material 1 by an automatic nail push-out machine 9 to push out the nail 5 from the exterior wall surface material 1.
