PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatile organic compound removing apparatus having excellent purification efficiency and a simple structure. SOLUTION: This volatile organic compound (VOC) removing apparatus 10 is provided with a purification part arranged inside a housing 11 being airtight space, VOC spraying means (a compressor 3, an ejector 4 and a spray nozzle 12) communicating with a VOC-containing liquid supplying source (a muddy water tank 5) for sucking the VOC-containing liquid and compressed air and mixing them and spraying the mixture toward the inside of the purification part, a VOC removing means (an activated carbon column 23) communicating with the purification part through connection pipes 26-28 and a sound muffling means (a sound muffling apparatus 22) interposed between the purification part and the VOC removing means.
