The invention relates to a device, especially for a means of transport, comprising a plurality of modules (1, 2) consisting of individual components (5-12) such as control appliances (9, 10), sensors (6, 11), actuators (7, 8) and/or other mechanical components, and a data bus (15) for controlling and or checking the function of the modules (1, 2). According to the invention, each module (1, 2) is provided with an interface (13, 14) for the function check, and a current supply connection (18), before being mounted and in order to independently check the function thereof; the modules (1, 2) integrated into the means of transport are connected to the data bus (15); and an on-board diagnosis can be carried out by means of the data bus (15) once the modules (1, 2) have been mounted in the means of transport. The data bus (15) is connected to a broadband emission means (16) which lines up data bus messages of different data bus systems (5) in parallel on the data bus, according to the multiplex method, and each module (1, 2) comprises a signal distributor (17) which generates the component-specific signals for the individual components (5-12) inside the module (1, 2). |
