The protection wall consists of metal rails (2) fastened flat to a firm surface (1), vertical posts (8) fastened to the rails, and bars (12) fitted between the posts. The posts have foot plates fitting into apertures in the rails, and the posts are fastened via screw connections and/or doweling below the metal rails. The apertures are covered by plates when not in use. The posts carry horizontally acting clamp devices (11), and rubber seals on the insides of land-sided flanges. |
